The nose is fruity, ripe and offers a fine concentration as well as complexity. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed blueberry and small notes of crushed raspberry combined with slight toasted touches, chocolate, discreet hints of spices as well as a subtle hint of Sichuan pepper and a very discreet hint of green cardamom. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, freshness, juiciness, a small tension, precision, a mineral frame as well as a small concentration. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of fleshy raspberry associated with a toasted touch, chocolate, spices as well as a very discreet hint of nutmeg and a hint of varietal on the finish.
