Château d’Arsac 2020, Margaux, Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel

On the nose it is aromatic, discreetly tight, precise and offers gourmandize, a certain intensity. It reveals notes of ripe blackcurrant, violet, lily and more slightly sweet blond tobacco associated with touches of pulpy berry fruits, strawberry as well as fine hints of graphite, with a discreet hint of pepper (in background) and vanilla. On the palate it is fruity, balanced and offers gourmandize, a certain richness, a little juiciness as well as minerality and tension. This wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy wild blackcurrant and more slightly juicy / fresh small red fruits associated with touches of racy minerality as well as fine hints of small fresh flowers and a subtle hint of cardamom . Good length.
