Château Croix du Trale 2017 – Haut-Médoc

The nose reveals notes of cassis, crushed cherry/raspberry associated with fine touches of toasted oak, zan, spices as well as a discreet hint of vanilla (in the background). The palate is juicy, fruity, well-balanced and offers minerality.mineral frame as well as fullness , a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, juicy cherry and more slightly juicy redcurrant associated with fine notes of liquorice, cassis as well as hints of saline minerality (in the background), toasted oak, vanilla sweet spices and a subtle/imperceptible hint of sugared tobacco (in the background). Good length. There is a hint of cocoa bitterness on the finish/background.
