The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers a fine freshness, richness, a fine grain, power as well as elegance. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, blackberry and small notes of black cherry associated with fine touches of wild ripe raspberry, fine hints of graphite, violet as well as a discreet hint of cornflower, Cuben pepper, cardamom and liquorice. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, elegant and offers a beautiful definition as well as a mineral/finely acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous cassis, juicy/ripe raspberry and small notes of juicy/acidulous blackberry associated with fine hints of violet, liquorice as well as very discreet hints of spices and roasted (in the background/persistence). A very discreet hint of bitterness of the cocoa on the finish. Good length.
