The palate is fruity and offers fat, roundness, a good structure, richness, tension as well as a slight gourmandise. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh/ripe strawberry, fresh/ripe blackberry and slight notes of salinity, fresh raspberry associated with a discreet hint of fresh cassis, slight hints of toasted oak, chocolate as well as a discreet hint of cardamom. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and good aromatic persistence with slight notes of cacao and caramelized oak/hazelnut. The finish is slightly dry.
