The nose is slightly powerful. It reveals toasted notes and blackberry assoicated with a woody hint, slight notes of ripe strawberry as well as discreet hints of spices and minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a slight juiciness, dynamism, an acid frame, fat, suavity as well as a slight tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry and juicy strawberry associated with slight notes of cassis, cherry, toasted oak as well as a very discreet hint of gray pepper and mocha (on the finish). Tannins are well-built. Good length.
