The nose is aromatic and offers gourmandize as well as elegance. It reveals notes of ripe blackberry, ripe cassis and small notes of flowers (iris, violet) associated with small touches of liquorice stick, vanilla pod as well as very discreet hints of nutmeg and a subtle hint of pepper. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness, a mineral frame, tension, precision as well as straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fleshy cassis, juicy/ripe blackberry and small notes of small red fruits associated with touches of vanilla, liquorice as well as fine hints of flowers, a subtle hint of spices and a very discreet varietal hint. Good length.
