Nice aromatic nose, airy and offers airy power. We find notes of violet, boysenberry and slight notes of purple plum associated with touches of star anise, almost sappy notes as well as discreet hints of Ceylon tea and sweet spices. The palate is nicely structured, balanced and offers freshness, a tangy/fresh structure, a lovely energy, sapidity, tanginess, a little shimmering side, harmony, a lovely definition as well as fullness . On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright blackcurrant, small bright blue fruits and slight notes of strawberry associated with touches of small fresh/roasted fruits as well as hints of cornflower/lily, a subtle hint of sap/star anise, with fine hints of tonka bean and sweet spices. The tannins are subtly soft. A nice and discreet work on the good bitters.
