The nose is aromatic, fruity and offers power, a fine grain and intensity. It reveals notes of fleshy blackberry, crushed gariguette strawberry, small notes of pulpy violet plum associated with touches of small fruits, cornflower, iris as well as hints of incense, nutmeg, strawberry and a very discreet hint of grey pepper. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers freshness, tension, a small fat, a racy minerality and a very fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/crunchy violet plum, small notes of juicy/fresh raspberry associated with touches of violet, cornflower, small wild fruits as well as hints of incense, grey pepper, mocha and very discreet hints of toasted almond/bourbon vanilla. Good length. Tannins are slightly marked.
