The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand, racy and offers a fine richness / concentration, finesse, depthness, a very fine velvety sensation as well as a beautiful grain. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed wild strawberry, crushed redcurrants and small notes of racy / iodine minerality associated with a hint of juicy black berries, licorice, tonka bean, a very discreet hint of flowers. violet (in the background) as well as a subtle hint of Cuben pepper and sweet spices. The palate is fruity, mineral, racy, (very) slightly tight, slightly powerful / concentrated and offers a beautiful grain (slightly grainy), a mineral frame, suavity, a beautiful freshness, dynamism, tension, roundness, a small juiciness as well as a beautiful definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy / fresh Boysenberry, wild strawberry and small juicy wild red berries associated with touches of elderberry, racy minerality, tonka bean / cocoa, discreet touches of black cherry, graphite, sweet spices, toasted / caramelized oak as well as a very discreet hint of vanilla and an imperceptible touch of Cuben pepper (in the background).
