The nose is fruity, concentrated, racy and mineral. It reveals notes of cassis, fresh raspberry, berries and touches of terroir associated with slight touches of cassis, discreet touches of licorice, toasted touches and a touch of pepper, mocha as well as a subtle hint of cardamom (after aeration). The palate is fruity, well balanced, juicy, mineral, fleshy and offers a beautiful juicy / acid frame as well as a slight tension and straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy raspberry, redcurrant and slight notes of wild strawberry combined with hints of fleshy cassis, a subtle hint of fleshy violet plum as well as hints of liquorice, sweet spices and a very discreet hint of blond tobacco. Tannins are well-built and very discreetly chewy.
