The nose is elegant, racy and offers a fine intensity as well as a small power. It reveals notes of ripe cassis, ripe blackberry, small notes of liquorice associated with a touch of cherry/raspberry, touches of underwood, tobacco as well as very discreet hints of cloves and an imperceptible hint of black pepper. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced and offers a juicy/slightly acidulous frame, racy minerality as well as tension. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of quite ripe raspberry, blackberry, small notes of ripe cherry associated with touches of liquorice, underwood as well as hints of cloves and mushroom. Tannins are slightly marked. A hint of chocolate on the finish/persistence.
