The nose is elegant, racy and offers power as well as a good finesse of the grain. The wine needs to be decanted. It reveals notes of ripe blackberries, ripe cassis and small notes of liquorice stick associated with fine hints of violet, zan, very discreet hints of undergrowth as well as a very discreet hint of coffee and almond. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced, silkiness and offers a fine juiciness, a beautiful suavity, a fine freshness, a fine acidulous frame, tension as well as a good definition. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy blackberry, fleshy cassis and small notes of ripe wild raspberry associated with touches of small ripe red berries and hints of liquorice, undergrowth and discreet toasted hints. Tannins are elegant and structuring. Good length.
