Château Confidence de Margaux 2015 – Margaux

The nose is fruity and offers a slight gourmandise, generosity and a slight minerality. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, salty minerality, crushed cassis and crushed raspberry combined with hints of chocolate and a subtle hint of violet and a subtle toasted hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice acid frame, minerality, a good expression, a nice grain as well as a nice matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and slight notes of raspberry associated with hints of redcurrant, touches of chocolate, vanilla/oak and subtle touches of sweet spices. Tannins are very slightly dry and a bit tight. Good length.
