Château Colombe Peylande 2021 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fresh and reveals some power and spiciness. There are notes of raspberry, strawberry and slightly spice associated with fine clove and a discreet hint of fresh garrigue. The palate is fruity and shows juiciness, a little sweetness, freshness, a fine linear edge and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly crunchy red berries combined with hints of lilac, fine varietal hints as well as a discreet hint of fresh black tea, nutmeg and a subtle cocoa powder (in the background). Good length.
