On the nose, fruity and offers gourmandize and a little richness. It reveals notes of pulpy/ripe blackcurrant, black berries and slightly fleshy blueberry associated with small touches of lily, violet as well as fine hints of chocolate and an imperceptible waft of coffee (in the background). On the palate, offers juiciness, minerality, a fine creaminess and a little fat. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, black currant and slightly pulpy cherry combined with hints of pulpy/ripe black berries, violet, lily as well as touches of tonka bean, tobacco and a subtle waft of clove (in the background). Good length. A very discreet hint of roast/good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
