On the palate, offers juiciness, minerality, a fine creaminess and a little fat. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, black currant and slightly pulpy cherry combined with hints of pulpy/ripe black berries, violet, lily as well as touches of tonka bean, tobacco and a subtle waft of clove (in the background). Good length. A very discreet hint of roast/good bitterness on the finish/persistence.
