The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a fine grain and a fine richness. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild cassis, small notes of crushed raspberry associated with touches of blueberry, flowers (violet, lilac) as well as hints of cocoa/chocolate, nutmeg and liquorice stick. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, juiciness and precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy cherry, juicy/fleshy raspberry, fleshy blackberry associated with small touches of crunchy/juicy cassis, blueberry as well as a hint of violet/flowers, cocoa and nutmeg. Tannins are precise, structuring and gourmand.
