Château Clinet 2014 – Pomerol

Château Clinet 2014 – Pomerol

The nose is fine and elegant. It reveals notes of ripe red fruits, cassis, flowers as well as a few slight notes of tobacco. The mouth is very mineral, fresh, complex and offers a nice tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of raspberry and slight notes of wild strawberry associated with touches of blackberry, plum as well as slight toasted woody notes and vanilla on the finish. There is also a small note of saline minerality on the palate. Tannins are elegant, grainy and slightly firm. Good length.
