The nose is fresh, racy, frank and offers a fine grain. It reveals notes of fresh kumquat, fresh candied berries, and more slightly hints of dried apricot associated with fine touches of spices. The palate is fruity and crunchy and offers freshness, minerality, a nice fineness/delicacy of the grain, a certain tension, accuracy, a fine crunch, good definition, complexity, precision, accuracy as well as a nice racy minerality. The wine is a bit aerial, with nice finesse and some fatness. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of candied peach, candied mandarin, and more slightly – notes of peach in syrup associated with touches of pineapple in syrup, candied/fresh berries, hints of fresh verbena, peach blossoms, with discreet hints of fresh almond as well as an imperceptible hint almost of candied orange zest (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of spices. Good length. Nice aromatic persistence. A subtle hint almost fresh acacia in the background.
