The nose is elegant, well-built, precise and offers deepness, a syrupy side/richness (but full of balance/control). It reveals notes of candied quince, apple in syrup, small notes of candied vine peach associated with touches of kumquat in syrup, crystallized mandarine as well as hints of small yellow fruits, pineapple, fine hints of ginger, spices, verbena/acacia and fresh honey. The palate is fruity, elegant, syrupy and offers a very beautiful balance, an acidulous frame, a beautiful definition, unctuosity, a small sapidity as well as a beautiful precise/square mouth (full of finesse). On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied quince, candied apple, small notes of candied pear associated with touches of pineapple in syrup, crystallized lemon as well as hints of small crushed yellow fruits, patisseries, honey, ginger, discreet hints of spices, verbena and apple flowers. Good length. A very discreet hint of patisseries /biscuit on the persistence.
