The nose is elegant, frank, racy and offers good definition, precision and a lovely, frank, fresh, racy grain. There are notes of boysenberry, pulpy raspberry and small notes of small crushed red fruits, associated with hints of sweet cranberry, fine hints of almost fennel, sweet spices, nutmeg, as well as a discreet hint of vanilla. The palate is well-built, fresh, mineral, chiselled and offers precision, generosity, gourmandise, roundness, a vibrant side and a certain generosity of fruit. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, brilliant cherry and small notes of crushed/ripe raspberry, combined with touches of small brilliant blue fruits, fine hints of toasted hazelnut, vanilla and toastiness. The tannins are velvety, gourmand and fresh. A lovely toasty, salty side on the finish. Lovely gourmandise and chewiness.
