Château Clerc Milon 2010 – Pauillac, Cru Classé

Château Clerc Milon 2010 – Pauillac, Cru Classé

The nose is powerful, aromatic, racy, full of control and offers precision, intensity (full of finesse) and deepness. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, spicesand small notes of dry cassis associated with touches of racy minerality, cardamom, grey pepper as well as hints of underwood and a subtle hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, elegant, full of length and offers a small straightness, a mineral frame, juiciness, tension, energy, a beautiful finely unctuous touch, a fine/discreetly tight grain, a racy minerality and deepness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/quite ripe wild blackberry, quite ripe cassis and small notes of cherry associated with touches of small berries, tobacco, tonka bean as well as fine hints of underwood, camphor, grey pepper, a racy minerality, discreet hints of dry almond and clove. An imperceptible hint almost iodine on the finish/persistence.
