The nose shows some power, fine grain, intensity and freshness. There are notes of wild blackcurrant, wild strawberry and more lightly racy minerality combined with hints of pepper, sweet spices and a hint of star anise. The palate is mineral and racy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and, more slightly, lilac, combined with hints of pulpy blackcurrant and fine hints of chocolate and caramelisation. Good length, gourmandize, harmony and concentration.
