Château Claud-Bellevue 2021 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

Château Claud-Bellevue 2021 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is elegant, fresh, floral and reveals fresh fruit. There are notes of fresh/chunky blackberry, raspberry and more slightly cherry combined with fine blueberry, racy minerality and a discreet hint of nutmeg and fresh blond tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, acidity, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandize, a fine mellowness, tension and sapidity. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cherry and more slightly raspberry combined with touches of violet, lily, racy minerality as well as fine points of toasted hazelnut, nutmeg, a very discreet hint of star anise and an imperceptible hint of variety. The tannins are sapid and direct. Fresh.
