The nose is fruity and offers a slight gourmandise. It reveals notes of cassis, black cherry and slight notes of redcurrant combined with hints of minerality, caramelization as well as discreet hints of hazelnut and subtle toasted touches. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a nice mineral frame, juiciness and a slight straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, black cherry and slight notes of crushed raspberry associated with a subtle touch of licorice, toasted / caramelized oak as well as slight touches of chocolate and a very discreet touch of sweet spices. Good length. There are discreet touches of hazelnut on the persistence.
