The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant and reveals finesse, distinction and attention to detail. There are notes of fresh/blushing blackcurrant, violet and, to a lesser extent, fresh cherry, combined with hints of crisp/fresh blueberry, as well as hints of star anise, fresh bergamot and discreet hints of fresh blond tobacco. The palate is fine and offers juiciness, acidity, a certain purity of fruit, purity, a nice linear side, elegance, crispness and a nice freshness of fruit. On the palate this wine expresses juicy/pulpy cherry, violet and slightly brighter blackcurrant notes combined with delicate touches of bigarreau cherry as well as fine points of crisp violet plum, fresh blond tobacco, tonka bean, a subtle hint of sweet blond tobacco, and a subtle hint of serenity (in the background). The tannins are finely mellow and elegant.
