Château Chantegrive 2012 – Graves

(50% Merlot & 50% Cabernet Sauvignon) The nose reveals notes of underbrush and leather associated with slight notes of blackberry, a touch of blueberry as well as slight / subtle notes of pepper. The mouth is fruity, mineral, quite elegant and quite fat. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry and cassis associated with touches of fig, raspberry, cherry and a touch of licorice. Tannins are fine and slightly dry. Good length.
