Château Chambert-Marbuzet 2018 – Saint-Estèphe

The nose is fruity and offers juiciness. It reveals notes of crushed red berries, raspberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of cherry blossom, acidulous cassis candy as well as a hint of flowers. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous/juicy frame, a good definition, suavity, a small gourmandize, a very fine unctuosity as well as freshness and a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, raspberry and small notes of violet associated with touches of juicy/fresh cassis as well as hints of chocolate, toasted, a subtle hint of toasted hazelnut and a hint of mocha (in the background).
