The nose is aromatic, elegant, fresh and offers concentration, a beautiful precision as well as a very beautiful finesse of the grain. It reveals notes of boysenberry, wild small fruits and wild strawberry associated with small notes of blue fruits/blueberry, cornflower/lily, Sichuan pepper, spices as well as discreet touches of black pepper and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy, well-built and offers a beautiful fullness, a beautiful definition, complexity, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a good structure, fat, a fine straightness, freshness, minerality, a bit aerial as well as a small tension. Everything is in place. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fleshy cassis and more slightly small blue fruits associated with fine touches of liquorice stick, sweet spices as well as a hint of vanilla and chocolate on the finish/persistence. Tannins are fine, very slightly tight and well-built. Good length. Fine chews on the finish. Well done!
