The nose is fruity, elegant, gourmand and precise. It reveals notes of cassis, flowers (violet, a hint of iris) and a hint of plum jam associated with a touch of black cherry jam, a hint of ripe strawberry as well as slight notes of Zan and a discreet hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity, fine, elegant, silky and offers a beautiful suavity as well as an unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis jam, black cherry and slight notes of strawberry associated with slight notes of chocolate and oak. Tannins are fine and well built. Good length and persistence. The finish is relatively powerful.
