The nose is fruity, elegant, racy and offers a beautiful finesse of the grain, richness (in finesse), power (full of conrol), a fine freshness as well as a fine racy minerality (in the background). It reveals notes of creamy blackberry, ripe cassis, small notes of crushed strawberry associated with touches of small crushed black frutis, lily, violet, crushed violet plum as well as small hints of pepper and spices. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers freshness, a racy minerality, a small freshness, a fine gourmandize, a fine acidulous frame, finesse in richness, finesse in tension, a fine straightness, roundness as well as a fine creaminess. On the palate this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, pulpy/juicy cassis, small notes of fresh/ripe raspberry associated with small touches of lily, lilac, a racy minerality as well as hints of pulpy/fresh blueberry, fine hints of camphor, caramelization, toasted, chocolate and a very discreet hint of toasted/ripe hazelnut (in the background). Tannins are well-built.
