The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a racy minerality and freshness. It reveals notes of cassis, crunchy wild blackberry and small notes of crunchy wild strawberry associated with fine touches of Cuben pepper, iris, liquorice stick as well as discreet hints of star anise (badiane) / tobacco leaf and very discreet toasted hints. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, well-built and offers an acidulous frame, minerality, tension, precision, gourmandise, a fine grain, juiciness as well as a fine silky side. On the palate this wine expresses juicy / ripe blackberries, juicy cassis and small notes of wild strawberry combined with small touches of berries, licorice / cardamom as well as discreet hints of vanilla and toasted / chocolate. Tannins are elegant and well-built. Good length.
