Château Carbonnieux 2014 – Pessac-Léognan – Grand Cru Classé de Graves

Château Carbonnieux 2014 – Pessac-Léognan – Grand Cru Classé de Graves

The nose is aromatic, elegant and very fruity. It reveals notes of citrus and white peach combined with a touch of exotic fruit and rose petal. The palate is fresh, tight, ample, incisive, nicely complex, elegant, fat and offers a certain richness and a nice matter with a nice weight. There is a nice acidity present throughout the tasting. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of exotic fruits (passion fruit, a touch of quenette), citrus and slight notes of white peach, grapefruit combined with a touch of tangerine and a few very slight toasted/woody notes. Good length and persistence. Beautiful fruity expression.
