Château Capet-Guillier 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is elegant, fresh and offers a certain power in righteousness / control. It reveals notes of Boysenberry, crushed cassis and more lightly wild strawberries associated with fine touches of violet, a hint of bigarreau cherry, fine hints of caramelization, cornflower, graphite as well as with a subtle hint of crushed small red currants, saffron (flowery) and chocolate. The palate is fruity and offers freshness, complexity, richness in mastery, gourmandize, a tangy frame, a little airy side in the management of its richness, a certain depth as well as a good definition. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of creamy blackberry, small fresh / ripe red currants and more slightly of wild strawberry associated with a touch of small flowers as well as fine hints of toasted almonds and an imperceptible hint of almost citrus. / orange (background). Tannins are precise and racy. Good length. A very nice sapid, suave, tangy and delicious persistence.
