Château Capdet 2020 – Listrac-Médoc, Cru Bourgeois

The nose is fruity and offers a certain richness justly controlled, a small concentration as well as a certain deepness. It reveals notes of bright cassis, violet, small notes of lily, fresh Boysen berry associated with touches of cherry/pulpy raspberry, fine hints of Badiane and a discreet hint of spices. the mouth is fruity, finely tight, mineral, balanced, fresh and offers a juicy/mineral frame, a good definition as well as suavity, juiciness, a certain straightness and freshness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, fresh/bright cassis, small notes of fresh raspberry associated with touches of small fleshy/pulpy red fruits as well as hints of vanilla, tonka bean/chocolate, sweet blond tabaco, toasted, a very discreet hint of racy minerality and dark tea. Good length. Sapidity and suavity in the finish. The tannins are finely marked.
