The nose is fruity and offers concentration, tension, a small freshness, a racy minerality as well as juiciness. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy strawberry and small notes of fleshy/juicy cassis associated with a hint of violet as well as hints of liquorice, toasted and a very discreet hint of caramelization. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, well-built and offers a good definition, juiciness, minerality (racy minerality), elegance, tension, a small freshness as well as an acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, juicy/fresh raspberry and small notes of fresh/juicy red berries associated with fine touches of flowers as well as fine hints of liquorice. Tannins are well-built. There is a discreet hint of bitterness on the finish. Good length.
