The nose is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a very finely tight grain and a sensation of tension. It reveals notes of fleshy wild cassis, crushed strawberry, violet, small notes of Sichuan pepper associated with touches of crushed raspberry, nutmeg and fine hints of zan/sugared tobacco. The palate is mineral, racy and offers suavity as well as a mineral frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cassis, Boysen berry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of violet, crunchy violet plum, a racy minerality as well as fine hints of camphor and liquorice. Good length. Tannins are slightly marked.
