The palate is nicely built, fruity, gourmand, and offers softness, sapidity, gourmandize, accuracy. It expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, creamy cassis and small notes of bright raspberry associated with touches of fleshy/juicy blueberry, as well as hints of sweet blond tobacco, star anise, nutmeg, a subtle hint of bourbon vanilla, toasted hazelnut and a subtle hint almost infusion. The tannins are soft, tasty, and very discreetly sappy. Good length and persistence. Nice freshness and minerality.
