The nose is fine. It reveals notes of leather and sweet spices associated with slight notes of cassis, blackberry, a hint of strawberry, fruit as well as a touch of oak and a hint of camphor. The palate is fruity, mineral, balanced, nicely fleshy, well-defined and offers a good and slightly silky matter. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, fig and slight notes of strawberry associated with notes of cassis buds, dark chocolate as well as very slight notes of sweet spices and a discreet hint of caramel. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Good length and persistence.
