Château Cantinot 2010  – Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux

Château Cantinot 2010  – Blaye Côtes de Bordeaux

The nose is fine, fruity, racy, charming, elegant and offers a slight density (in the background), deepness as well as a slight intensity. It reveals notes of raspberry and wild blackberry associated with a slight touch of flowers, a oak touch, black pepper as well as slight hints of cacao and a subtle hint of Bourbon vanilla. The wine needs to be carafed. The palate is fruity, fresh, mineral, well-balanced, suave and offers a beautiful structure, a beautiful mineral frame as well as a slight acidity. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh strawberry and hints of raspberry associated with discreet hints of toasted oak as well as a subtle hint of cacao and an imperceptible hint of caramelization. Tannins are fine, well-built and polished. Good length and persistence.
