Château Cantin 2019 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose offers intensity, power, finesse and concentration. It reveals notes of wild cassis, small bright black berries, small notes of griotte associated with touches of liquorice, cuben pepper, expresso and fine hints of spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a fine acidulous frame, juiciness, gourmandize as well as a small tension, precision and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of bright cassis, bright blackberry, small notes of griotte associated with small touches of juicy/pulpy strawberry as well as hints of liquorice, violet, cocoa and fine hints of coffee (in the background). Tannins are structuring.
