The nose is fruity, well-balanced, elegant, powerful, racy and offers a small richness. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry, wild berries and wild strawberries associated with a subtle hint of blueberry as well as a discreet hint of violet and spices. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, precise, very elegant and offers a beautiful definition / finesse, a beautiful structure, a mineral frame, a small fat, a beautiful grain, a nice volume, a slight acidity / juiciness (in the background) as well as a silky and fleshy matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, fresh strawberry and sligh notes of cherry, cassis associated with a discreet hint of ripe / fresh redcurrant, subtle touches of oak, toasted touches, vanilla, almond / caramelization, chocolate as well as a very discreet hint of Zan and slight hints of minerality (gravels/terroir). Tannins are elegant and slightly chewy. Beautiful persistence. There are hints of dark chocolate on the aftertaste. Beautiful gourmandise!
