Château Cantegril 2017 – Sauternes

Château Cantegril 2017 – Sauternes

The nose is a bit tight. It reveals notes of candied yellow fruits, quince and more slightly of candied citrus associated with a hint of oak, nutmeg, honey and spices. The palate is fruity, fresh, well-balanced, racy, precise, full and offers a good definition, a beautiful acid frame, freshness, a fine unctuosity, a fine suavity as well as a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of candied lemon, pear syrup, dry apricot and candied pineapple associated with subtle hint of fresh William pear, quince as well as subtle touches of honey, spices and a very discreet/imperceptible hint of vanilla (in the background).
