The nose is elegant, beautifully built and offers power, a beautiful power as well as complexity. It reveals notes of wild cassis, lily, small notes of cornflower associated with touches of fleshy strawberry, blueberry as well as very fine hints of zan, incense, a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper, a subtle hint of nut, Badiane, nutmeg and spices (in the background). The palate is fruity, elegant and offers a small freshness, suavity, juiciness, gourmandize as well as a beautiful definition, precision, elegance, a very fine crunchiness, a very beautiful/juicy fruit, deepness, a melodious side, silkiness, sweetness and a beautiful finesse of the grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/crunchy blackberry, crunchy/juicy cassis, small notes of lily associated with touches of fleshy strawberry, fresh nutmeg as well as fine hints of juicy violet plum as well as very fine hints of Badiane, iris/varietal (brings peps and brightness), cocoa and a discreet hint of toasted/oak. Good length. Tannins are well-built, supple and elegant. A very fine hint of caramelized almond on the finish/persistence. A beautiful gourmand persistence.
