The nose is aromatic, fine, elegant, complex and offers harmony, deepness, a very fine velvety side, power, a fine concentration and intensity. It reveals notes of blackcurrant, blackberry and small notes of wild berries associated with touches of bulb / lily, subtle hints of wild red berries / wild strawberry as well as discreet hints of Cuben pepper and sweet spices. The mouth is fruity, a bit tight and offers a beautiful definition, a beautiful harmony, a nice finesse of the grain, a beautiful acid frame, delicacy, a very fine creaminess, a beautiful freshness, roundness, a beautiful minerality, a beautiful crunchy / juicy fruit, suppleness as well as a nice juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy blackberry, crunchy cassis and small notes of crunchy / fresh raspberry, crunchy / juicy red berries associated with small / slight touches of tonka bean, caramelized oak, very fine touches of chocolate, subtle hints of lily (in the background) as well as fine / discreet touches of toasted almonds, tea, acidulous fruits and a very discreet iodine / racy minérality on the finish (brings gourmandize as well as appetite). Tannins are fine and well-built. There are a subtle hint of bitter cocoa and coffee on the persistence / aftertaste. There is a very discreet grilled hint on the persistence.
