The nose is fruity, racy and offers a fine intensity as well as a gritty minerality. It reveals notes of wild red berries, crunchy redcurrant and blackberry associated with fine touches of toasted as well as a fine hint of iris and a discreet hint saline. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, juicy, elegant, racy, very slightly tight and offers a good definition, a beautiful freshness, a beautiful acid frame, tension, gourmandize as well as a fine unctuosity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crunchy redcurrant and cassis associated with small notes of wild strawberry, blackberry, gravels (Graves)/racy minerality, a very discreet hint of bulb as well as fine touches of iris/flower, discreet touches of toasted, sweet spices and subtle touches of fresh almond. Tannins are fine and slightly firm. Beautiful acidulous persistence.
