The nose is fruity, finely tight and offers a small freshness, a small power as well as a fine intensity. It reveals notes of wild cassis, wild blackberry, small notes of violet, small crunchy red berries associated with fine touches of fresh rose as well as a subtle varietal hint. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers an acidulous frame, tension and a fine straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, crunchy/juicy blackberry, small notes of small red berries associated with touches of iris/fresh rose as well as subtle hints of sweet spices/toasted and very discreet hints of sweet almond (in the background). Tannins are structuring.
