Château Cadet-Bon 2021 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

Château Cadet-Bon 2021 – Saint-Émilion Grand Cru

The nose offers elegance, power, finesse, depth and intensity. There are notes of bright wild blackcurrant, blueberry and, to a lesser extent, crushed strawberry, combined with hints of violet, lily and a subtle touch of pepper, lilac and a discreet hint of nutmeg. The palate is fruity, racy and reveals juiciness, acidity, good definition, fleshiness, gourmandize, accuracy and terroir. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cherry, tangy raspberry and, more slightly, pulpy/juicy blackberry, combined with fine touches of crunchy blackcurrant, blueberry, as well as fine hints of star anise, a discreet hint of Madagascar pepper and sweet blond tobacco. Good length. A nice acidic persistence and fine chocolate hints.
