The nose is aromatic, well-built, racy and offers elegance, a small freshness, gourmandize as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of cassis, fresh blackberry and more slightly fresh strawberry associated with small hints of cornflower, toasted as well as a discreet hint of Sichuan pepper and zan. The palate is fruity, mineral, well-balanced and offers a beautiful fat, tension, a mineral frame (racy minerality) as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, fresh raspberry and more slightly fresh cassis associated with small touches of fresh flowers as well as hints of racy minerality, zan, toasted, cardamom, a very discreet hint of Bourbon vanilla (in the background) and an imperceptible hint of black pepper (in the background). Tannins are well-built. Good length. Good persistence on hints of chocolate and caramelization.
