The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, a nice suavity, delicacy, a nice freshness, a fine minerality as well as a small acid frame (in the background). In the mouth this wine expresses notes of juicy blackberry, strawberry, black cherry and a touch of cassis associated with touches of licorice / zan, grilled wood, tonka bean and an imperceptible hint of violet. Tannins are slightly dry. Good length. There is an imperceptible hint of saline minerality and licorice / zan on the finish / persistence.
